Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Ripe pomegranate and dark cherry teamed with a touch of strawberry aptly describe this wine’s aromatic palate. There is also, slightly hidden in the back, cherry cream. It’s a beautiful, lush aroma.
Pinot Noir is seductive. It’s very nature of being both fragile and complex is beguiling. Red cherry prominence coupled with brightness and subtlety describe this wine’s enjoyment.

Vineyard Notes
McConnel Vineyard is located at ground zero of the Russian River AVA. On Vine Hill Road, the soils are of biblical order, Goldridge formation, uplifted ancient sea floor, sandy and light, on rolling hills approaching the Coast Range of mountains towards the Pacific Ocean. This area used to be known for Gravenstein apples. Now it’s known for producing some of the best Pinot Noir in the world.
